Every week we strive to teach basic Bible truths creatively in interesting environments and help children to apply them at home, at school and at play. We use a combination of theater, music, videos, practical activities and small group discussions.
Serving infants and toddlers. Our volunteer staff provides an atmosphere of love and care for younger children.
The Chiquitos area:
Connects the two years old through kindergarten. This includes times of active worship featuring music and creative storytelling through theater and puppets. This is followed by time in small groups that include:
Children participation in age appropriate fun
Hands-on activities that reinforce the message.
The Grandecitos Area:
For children grades 1st – 5th. At this point the children are welcomed by the leaders of small groups and engaged in activity stations with fun games and crafts related to the theme of the day. We offer a group experience offering a variety of music, games, and creative teaching, followed by small group discussions and activities.
AWANA is an international discipleship program for children, emphasizing the memorization of God’s word. Games, dynamic, prizes and songs are used and the parental involvement is required to support instruction at home.
What does the term “AWANA” mean?
AWANA: “Approved Workmen are not Ashamed”
Based on 2 Timothy 2:15
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
How AWANA organized?
AWANA is organized by grade level.
– Puggles (2 years)
– Cubbies (pre-K born before 8/31/07)
– Sparks (Kingergarten-2nd grade)
– Truth and Training Adventure (3rd and 4th grade)
– Truth and Training Challenge (5th and 6th grade)
includes manual and all prizes, snacks will be provided for classes of Puggles and Cubbies.
* Childcare will be provided by Kings Park for children 6-23 months at no cost to parents
The session class is divided into various activities.
Review of verses with each individual child or small groups.
When and Where?
The whole area Kings Park children from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
What are the requirements?
Collaboration of Parents:
Parents are children’s pastors and teachers. For your children to be successful, the child has to do homework at home and learn their verses. Parents are asked to take time with the kids to learn their verses during the week.
Registration of $ 45.00: To help cover the cost of materials, uniforms, awards, teacher training …. etc.
Uniform $ 10
Assistance and materials:
Children are asked to be punctual and consistent in their participation, and always bring their vest and book to the class.
